Therefore, when talking about usufruct, the property is actually split into 2 parts: the one who uses it, and the one who owns it.
As usufructuary you are not obliged to use the property. You are free to rent it and obtain the "fruits" (rental price). When the usufruct ends, the property may be used again by its bare owner or their heirs.
